Goddess Persephone Chanelled Essence
If ever there was a Goddess to help with the effects of narcissism; then this would be your Goddess. Greek Goddess Persephone was said to be kidnapped by the god of the Underworld, Hades, who wanted her for his wife. He planted a daffodil or narcissus that he knew would tempt her to pick it and set a trap for her, appearing as she picked it and carrying her away to the underworld. There is so much metaphor here but know that if you’ve suffered at the hands of a narcissist in your life Persephone is there to help you feel whole and to help you heal. She also helps you deal with the emotional effects of narcissism and helps reconfigure you energetically in order that you can heal and become whole again. This essence really helps you deal with the effects of narcissists and narcissistic relationships where, you might feel that you can’t ever trust your own judgement again. This Goddess and essence helps you see and value yourself after narcissistic abuse. Goddess Persephone’s essence is also a wonderful essence to take at this time of year to help you align with the Spring Equinox on 25th March when the nights and days are equal. It is said that her mother, Demeter, was so sad when her daughter was taken by Hades that the Earth became barren. A deal was therefore struck that Persephone would return to Earth for six months of the year to be with her mother and then go back to Hades for the remaining six months. Her return was known as Spring and her departure Autumn. Persephone helps you come into energetic balance in all ways so that you can “spring forward” with ease and grace. She also helps you integrate the shadow parts of your unconscious and with that, find balance and peace. Use this essence and its energetics to help you come into balance and find the love for yourself that you might need again.
